Hello~
So here is something that has been plaguing us.
HERMITS.
No we aren't talking about the crustacean ones, but the people.
So its our first year at university, and we've made NO FRIENDS.
*cries dramatically*
Why have we made no friends? Well here is a few reasons why:
1. We have been flung into a surrounding different from what we are use to
2. We enjoy our comfort zones
3. Lazy
4. Focus on academics more than social interactions
5. Lack of motivation to actually make friends (<--- which is our downfall)
So yeah. Have you guys/Are you guys, having this same problem?
I've always been sort of a hermit since birth, but anyways.

Double-Chocolate Chip Cookies... Mmm~
Hey guys its Katy! Been a while since I've posted anything. Ashley is finally back at the dorm, but has withdrawn from classes this semester due to her illness. :C Plus break is soon, so she can take it easy. C;
Finals are coming up so I'm sure everyone needs a little pick me up.
I discovered this recipe on one of my many fits of procrastination.
It is a fairly easy recipe to accomplish and doesn't require a whole lot.
The original recipe can be found here: Betty Crocker.
I made a few tweaks to the recipe.
Instead of using semisweet chocolate chips I used milk chocolate since there was already going to be baking cocoa in the mix I didn't want a bitter cookie, because I don't really favor bitter things. C;
Here is my own picture of the outcome, the lighting in the dorms weren't that good, so thats why it may look funky. C:
So since its so close to break I won't be making much stuff in the dorms, but when I get home I'll make sure to post the outcome on here!

Been a while...
Hey guys, been a while.
Got a cold and such. (Realllllly sucked) And Ashley is having some personal issues too so she actually went back to our home town to see her doctor there, but yeah.
So the holidays are coming around and I thought that some college students don't get to go back home for Thanksgiving or Christmas (Like your RAs). So I'm going to start putting up some dorm-friendly or even lounge friendly recipes. :D Most of them will be of course sweets. <3
Or even some dead week pick me ups, but of course I"m sure most of you don't even want to hear the word "final," I sure as heck don't...
I'll be posting pictures of the finished foods and their recipes. :D I hope you guys try them out and give me some feedback!

Review #1: "The Wok"
Hey guys! Been a while, so we'll be posting our review on the first restaurant we have been to on campus, which was a disappointment, this has been a while and we haven't gone back since.
Oh, and Ashley mostly wrote this review with her fancy words. xD
Hey there, so this is the review for Hard Wok Grill A.K.A "The Wok"
Starting with the technicalities of itself, the veggies are undercooked, the rice is overcooked, and "fried" does not mean fried, "fried" means mush with egg. Meat is redeemable,
the spices were a little on the spicy side. Low doesn't mean "low," it means medium, ask for negative low. It was overly sauced, bits nad pieces of other meals might end up in your food, because there isn't really any order with cooking on the grill.
Employees seem to only wear gloves when cleaning. I personally witnessed a blonde girl, hair in ponytail not OFF collar, handle meat to go on the grill with bare hands and also wipe her hands on her jeans before continuing to cook. I might be wrong but this violates health code, does it not?
Best part of the meal? The soda I got, seriously wasn't worth the almost $10 I spent
So besides the concept of the place, round grill, rounded windows to where you can actually see your meal being prepared. (Not really the greatest idea when you have incompetent workers). But earlier this week I went back to Tulsa and visited my parents and I went to the mall with my mom, and while we were there we went to the food court for a bite to eat, and we ate at the Chinese Gourmet Express there, and I'd have to say that was waaay better than The Wok, the rice was cooked in a way that was edible and the fried noodles, were a bit greasy, but at least it had flavor, and the bourbon chicken, oh yes, that was the best meat ever. End of story, unless we eat somewhere else with better stuff. :P

A New Beginning!
Hello Everyone!
I'd first like to introduce ourselves, yes I said "ourselves." This is a combo deal, like Mickey D's, haha. xD
So first off:
Hi guys, I'm Katy. I'm a college freshmen. I currently live in the university dorms with my niece Ashley (very complicated family history that we may indulge you guys with later on), who also is my partner in doing this and it will always be a group effort. ;D
I absolutely love taking photos of random items around town and when I go out of town. I loooove fall/autumn, its beautiful. So thats all that I can think of, now its Ashley's turn! We'll be writing in different styles so look out!
Soooo, I'm Ashley. I'm also a freshman and me and Katy aren't just related we're roommates!(always fun right?) I love to read, it is my life :) I also dabble in the arts. I'm met with varying degrees of success in this area, but i keep on chuck-in'. I am also a gigantic nerd and love all things batman, though I am not yet an expert. when i get excited about a subject I get really loud and obsessive. which I consider both a blessing and a curse as time moves forward....well I think that is pretty much all for now since I really don't know what Katy wanted from now in this little section.
So, why are we starting this?
Because one night while trekking around town we got hungry, so we thought, "hey, lets go to that chinese restaurant on campus." So we go there and we wait, and we wait, and we wait, and Ashley gets her order first, and she tells me its disgusting, so I'm waiting for mine and finally I get mine, and by this time Ashley is already put her fork down and decided that she won't eat anymore, so I try it, and its soooo gross, the veggies aren't cooked all the way, the rice is over cooked, its a let down! So while we do have a meal plan through our school, that we already paid for, I was not happy for spending almost 10 bucks on this meal. So while we were eating I thought that maybe we should do a food review, and then that is when we took out my notebook and pen and started writing our review, which you will see later on. (I hope we get views. :C )
So be a little easy on us because this will be our first time doing such a thing. And I hope to do some videos just for fun for you guys, maybe do a little Q&A session.
